[World Premiere] Prism Quartet - Mending Wall

Mending Wall is a fully staged concert exploring the meaning of walls in our world by giving musical form to questions about identity, community, division, and freedom. Soprano Tony Arnold and pianist Arturo O’Farrill join the PRISM Quartet in world premiere performances of works by four visionary composers—Martin BresnickGeorge E. LewisJuri Seo, and O’Farrill—who take inspiration from poetry by Robert Frost, Keorapetse Kgositsile, Waly Salomão, and Guillermo Gómez-Peña. Directed by Jorinde Keesmaat with lighting design by Aaron Copp.

Admission to Mending Wall performances at Bryn Mawr College is free for students, staff, and faculty of the Tri-College Consortium (Tri-Co), a collaboration of Bryn Mawr College, Haverford College, and Swarthmore College. Tri-Co students may reserve tickets through the Bryn Mawr College Arts Office: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Goodhart 200, 610-526-5300, reservations@brynmawr.edu, or by filling out this Ticketing Request Form.
